Eligibility Criteria

For Regular Education Mode:

  • Candidates must have at least 50% marks in either their Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) or Master’s Degree in Science, Humanities, or Commerce.
  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology specializing in Science or Mathematics require at least 55% marks.
  • Equivalent qualifications are also eligible.
  • Eligible candidates can appear for the Two-Year B.Ed. Programme (CET-B.Ed.).

For Shiksha-Shastri Programme:

  • Candidates must have at least 50% marks in a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) with Sanskrit as the main subject, or a Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/Archara in Traditional Sanskrit Shastra with 50% marks, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Shastri B.A. (with Sanskrit) graduates must have at least 50% marks from a recognized university or examination body and must complete a two-year course.
  • Acharya (First Year) or MA (Sanskrit) bridge course pass is required for the first year.
  • Marks from Acharya First Year or MA First Year will not count towards the percentage.
